The Journal of Tourism Challenges and Trends is published on a biannual basis, with two issues per year:

• Issue 1: June

• Issue 2: December

Each issue features peer-reviewed original research articles, review papers, case studies, and special issue contributions focusing on dynamic and emerging areas of tourism, including sport tourism, active tourism, sustainable tourism development, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Special issues, such as the current edition guest edited by Prof. Dr. habil. habil. habil. Dávid Lóránt Dénes, may be published within the regular biannual schedule or as a supplementary issue, depending on editorial decisions and submission volume.
